About
Hello, I’m Anwita Bhowmik
I am a postdoctoral researcher in mathematics, currently affiliated with Hebei Normal University in China. I am studying divisible design graphs, which are generalizations of strongly regular graphs. My work is driven by curiosity and passion for combinatorics and graph theory, with a particular focus on some classes of strongly regular graphs, for instance the Paley and Peisert graphs over finite fields, as well as their generalizations. Very recently, I am also exploring some problems in additive combinatorics, in particular, in certain subclasses of power semigroups.
I completed my Ph.D. in Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in 2023, under the guidance of Prof. Rupam Barman. My doctoral thesis explored the rich structures of Paley and Peisert graphs, contributing to the broader understanding of algebraic graph theory.
Beyond research, I enjoy listening to music, singing and playing badminton.
Research Interests
